Carolyn is interested in understanding the effects of peripheral nerve injury on musculoskeletal health, with a particular focus on how compromised muscle forces alter bone development. She is also a lab member of the Movement Biomechanics Laboratory (MoBL), directed by her co-advisor, Dr. Katherine Saul (MAE). Carolyn joins the BME department after two years of industry experience as a sustaining product engineer at Stryker Orthopaedics, located in her home state of NJ. Outside of lab, she also enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and planning new adventures with her husband.
