Aging Project

Jon is interested in understanding the physiological and mechanical conditions of muscle and tendon during human movement (e.g. walking, running), with a particular focus on how clinical conditions can alter typical movement. He is also a lab member of the Human PoWer Lab (PoWer), directed by his co-advisor, Dr. Gregory Sawicki (BME). Jon joins the BME department after one year of laboratory experience working with mouse models simulating Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). In his free time, Jon enjoys playing music, spending time with his wife and new puppy, and cooking.
