Kyla is working on a rat computational model of the Brachial Plexus Birth Injury and seeing how the microarchitecture of the bone changes due to injury and through the development of the shoulder over time.
In her free time, Kyla enjoys reading about science fiction, true crime, and historical science non-fiction, cooking and trying new food, playing with her cat, and enjoying the outdoors.
