Kyla aced her defense on Friday! She presented her research as part of the BPBI project, guided by her committee: Jacque and Kate Saul as cochairs, plus Matt Fisher and Derek Kamper, also from BME. Congratulations Kyla!

Jason has defended last week and (of course) passed, making him Dr. Jason Cox! He already has a job lined up with Align Technology, the company behind Invisalign, and will be starting almost right away. He will very much be missed in the lab, but we wish him the best of luck in his new job and in everything else.

Yihan, who is co-advised by Jacque and Dr. Martin King in the College of Textiles, defended her dissertation yesterday and received an unconditional pass. We’re so proud!
